Former Club President passes away

Sandi J. Hamilton, 53, of Temple Terrace passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011. Sandi was a 1976 graduate of Hillsborough High School; she attended the University of Florida and the University of South Florida. She was Co-Founder of Leisure Travel; served as Registrar, Board of Directors and President of Temple Terrace Soccer Association; was a member of Temple Terrace Junior Chamber of Commerce; and a member of The First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace. Preceded in death by her mother, Betty J. Swope. Survivors include her loving husband, John R. Hamilton; children, Travis Clay, Kaeley Noele and Madison Leigh Hamilton; father, S. Morris Swope; brothers, Keith Michael and Dale Martin Swope. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace with interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
