The Temple Terrace Soccer Association, Inc. (TTSA) dba Florida Soccer Club – Spirit of Tampa Bay have officially entered into a relationship with the City of Zephyrhills to use the Krusen Field Park in aneffort to grow youth soccer for boys & girls in Zephyrhills, Florida. The official name will be Florida Soccer Club – Spirit of Zephyrhills. Krusen Field Park is in Zephyrhills at 4626 Krusen Field Road.

Mark Shepherd, Florida Soccer Club, Director of Coaching stated: “We are excited to have the opportunity to grow youth soccer in this area of Tampa Bay and are confident that our youth development philosophy will excite the community. We are committed to Zephyrhills and excited to get started!”

Florida Soccer Club also officially announces the addition of Gary Blissett (bio) as the Spirit of Zephyrhills, Director of Coaching. Gary comes to FSC Spirit with worldwide experience as a former professional player, professional coach and Technical Director. Blissett played professionally in the top leagues of England for the likes of Brentford, FC & Wimbledon, FC along with other professional clubs in Singapore and Germany. In the past he has served as a Goalie Coach for SV 07 Elvesberg and has also done work with the US Soccer Development Academy. In addition, Blissett has 20+ years of experience in German professional and youth soccer working with clubs the like of Hoffenheim.

 Mark Shepherd, Director of Coaching noted, “Adding an individual of Gary Blissett’s character, worldwide professional player and coaching experience will be a massive asset to not only our club however more importantly to the youth of Zephyrhills! As a club we are confident that Gary will be embraced by the community. We are elated to have him on board”.

 Florida Soccer Club – Spirit of Zephyrhills will kick off the youth season with competitive team tryouts starting the week of May 7th in Zephyrhills. Spirit of Zephyrhills will also host Summer Soccer Camps in June/July 2018 and will have a Recreational program starting in October of 2018.

 TTSA was established in 1975 and is one of the oldest and most successful youth soccer clubs in the southeast. TTSA has a demonstrated a successful track record in youth soccer development for the past 43 years.
